The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) is a national survey that collects information from undergraduate students (first-year students and graduating seniors) about their educational experience.
Check out highlights from the latest survey findings for CSUF below. 

 

 2024 NSSE Results

  • More than three-quarters (77%) of NSSE respondents indicated that their courses challenged them to do their best work.

  • 93% of first-year respondents indicated that they intend to return to CSUF, which was significantly higher compared to other CSU institutions (89%).

  • 90% of NSSE respondents agreed that they feel comfortable being themselves at CSUF.

  • 82% of NSSE respondents shared that their experience at CSUF has contributed to their critical thinking and analytical skills.

  • 81% of NSSE respondents indicated that they connected ideas from their courses to prior experiences and knowledge quite a bit or very much.
